  • Normandy Viking Volunteers Program

The Normandy community has always supported our students and families. One of the ways they have shown their support is through volunteer efforts in the schools. Volunteers are an integral part of the Collaborative as they provide additional support to enrich the student experience with the ultimate goal of helping our students succeed academically.

We are proud to launch the Viking Volunteers program!

Viking Volunteers are an integral part of the Collaborative as they provide additional support to enrich the student experience with the ultimate goal of helping our students succeed academically. Our goal is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to grow and develop in our educational community while staying focused on “Changing Lives Today. Educating for the Future."

A volunteer can be parent or person in the community who provides their services to the Normandy Schools Collaborative free of charge. NSC volunteers may assist teachers with tutoring students, chaperoning a field trip or school sponsored activity, or assisting staff members within the school building. NSC volunteers do not include students participating in a district-sponsored program, such as, tutoring or acting as an office or teaching assistant.
