Normandy Schools Collaborative Introduces New Student Information System for 2024-2025
Normandy Schools Collaborative has transitioned to a new student information system (SIS) for the 2024-2025 school year! PowerSchool has replaced Tyler SIS as Normandy's student information system and parent portal. Families will now use the PowerSchool Parent Portal to access essential student information, including:
- Attendance records
- Student schedules and teacher assignments
- Emergency contact details
- Summer school registration
With PowerSchool, families can conveniently view all of their children's information under a single Parent Portal account.
Register for the PowerSchool Parent Portal Today!
To stay informed about your child's progress, school activities, and important updates, it is essential to register for the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
Account setup details were shared by your child's school in September 2024, which included a username and temporary password to set up an account in parent portal. If you have not yet created your account, please contact your child's school to obtain their unique Confidential ID and Password. If you have not received information about how to set up your account, please contact your child’s school.
How to Set Up Your PowerSchool Account:
- Open an internet browser on your computer.
- Go to http://normandysc.powerschool.com/public.
- Click "Create Account" and enter your first and last name, email address, and a password under "Parent Account Details."
- Enter your student’s name (Last Name first, then First Name).
- Input the Confidential ID and Password provided by your school. (If you do not have this information, please contact your child's school.)
- Check your email to verify your PowerSchool account.
- For security purposes, log out when finished.
After logging into your PowerSchool account, you will see a screen similar to:
Click These Menu Icons to Access the Following:
Grades and Attendance
- View your current grades.
- Check your GPA (displayed below the chart).
- Click on a grade to see class score details, where you can:
- View assignment descriptions (click the title if highlighted).
- Read assignment comments (click the score if highlighted).
- See total absences and tardies.
- Email a teacher by clicking their name.
Grades History – Review final grades from past quarters.
Attendance History – View detailed attendance records.
Email Notifications – Set up automated reports sent directly to your email.
Teacher Comments – Read feedback and notes left by teachers.
School Bulletin – Stay updated with daily school announcements.

To ensure you receive important school updates, safety alerts, and district-wide announcements, we strongly encourage all parents and guardians to update their contact information—including phone numbers, email addresses, and mailing addresses—through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
