CTE Opportunities for NHS Students

North Tech is initiating a few changes for the upcoming school year.

First, our website is being updated. Use the menu to access our programs page to learn about our program recommendations and requirements. Select “apply to tech” to access our admissions criteria page and our partner-district resources page. These pages should serve as your one-stop shop for the tools you need to assist students and support their application to Tech. There are links to the course guide, student calendar, Tech videos for many of our programs, and much more. Check out our website here!

Also, North Tech is implementing a new admissions process. Please refer to the admissions FAQ on our website for answers to your questions about the new process.

Applications for North Tech are now open. The deadline to apply is December 19. The Special School District operates North Teach, providing Normandy students with more than 25 programs in career and technical education (CTE).

The CTE mission is college and career readiness - a commitment to preparing students for the increasing demands of the 21st-century workforce and ensuring students are fully prepared for college and careers. Their engaging programs, everything from Automotive Technology to Web & Computer Programming, are focused on developing real-world skills, providing hands-on experience, and connecting students to employers and mentors who will support them long after graduation.
