MO School Violence Hotline flier

Missouri School Violence Hotline

  • Normandy Schools Collaborative is committed to maintaining safe educational environments throughout the district. If your child is being threatened or bullied, please contact your school counselor or building principal immediately.

Students, staff, parents, and community members are encouraged to report any violence that happens on school property, the school bus, or online to the Missouri School Violence Hotline. Callers can remain anonymous. The SVH is operated and funded by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Children's Division.

    What should be reported?

The following incidents should be reported:

    • Assaults
    • Bullying
    • Cyber-bullying
    • Fights
    • Property damage
    • Sexual assaults
    • Sexual misconduct
    • Theft
    • Threats
    • Weapons
    • Self-harming

What happens after I make a report?

When a report is made to the SVH, information is gathered from the reporter and entered into a centralized database. This information is then immediately relayed by phone and the report is faxed or emailed to the appropriate law enforcement agency and school. Officials with the school and law enforcement will then determine how to appropriately handle each report.
