Community Outreach

Beyond Housing is a nationally recognized, comprehensive community development organization dedicated to transforming the St. Louis region’s under-resourced communities to create a stronger, more equitable, and prosperous St. Louis for all. Their work brings civic leaders, targeted nonprofits, corporate partners and residents together to create meaningful and lasting change.

24:1 is reimagining community. Chosen by the community, the name represents the 24 municipalities (now 23) within the Normandy Schools footprint united under one vision for neighborly communities, invested families, and successful businesses. We are a community on the rise and an example for the rest of St. Louis on what can be achieved by building each other up to create greater success.

Parents as Teachers operates in local communities across the United States and around the world.  They partner with families to increase parent knowledge of early childhood development, improve parenting practices, increasing children’s school readiness and success, provide early detection of developmental delays and health issues, and prevent child abuse and neglect.
